Founded in 1988, Avtec has been a leader in the aerospace industry since the early 90's. With dedication to quality, hard work and technical innovation, this one-man operation grew into a full service repair station; receiving several STC's. Avtec quickly became a familiar name in the field of aircraft completions and modifications.

While custom interiors became an integral part of Avtec's focus, one thing stood out; the need for a better lighting system. Recognizing the limitations and expense of incandescent and fluorescent lamps, as well as the damage caused by heat and harmful UV and IR rays, Avtec began to focus its talent on the task of designing a superior cabin lighting system.

In 1994 the Fiber Optic Lighting concept was developed. This revolutionary idea was patented and the FAA gave its approval in 1995.

Now Avtec's total focus is directed to improving aircraft lighting. With the introduction of its new line of LED reading and dome lights as well as its programmable LCD switching unit, Avtec can satisfy all of your aircraft lighting needs.

All of Avtec's lighting systems are designed and manufactured in house and tested to the highest levels of quality and safety.

Avtec's Aircraft lighting system can be installed in light or heavy aircraft, new and old, and is currently installed in top-secret military aircraft as well as aircraft from Boeing, Gulfstream, Falcon, Cessna, Bombardier, Raytheon, Sabreliner, and many other aircraft including helicopters.
